Overview

Closmore ("we," "our," or "us") is a Chrome extension that helps sales professionals analyze LinkedIn profiles to generate personalized outreach. We prioritize user privacy and transparency. We only process data that you explicitly select.

Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

  • License Key: Stored locally to validate your access.
  • Sales Context: Input data such as your product details, relationship stage, and notes (stored locally).

B. Information Collected via Interaction

We do not scrape data in the background. Only when you click the "Capture Profile" button on a LinkedIn page, we process the following visible fields:

  • Name
  • Professional Headline
  • Job Title & Company
  • Work Experience
  • Location
  • "About" Section Text

How We Use Your Information

The data collected is used strictly for the functionality of the tool:

  • To analyze prospect fit using AI algorithms.
  • To generate "Lead Scores" and actionable insights.
  • To draft personalized email content based on the profile context.
  • To display your own usage history in your personal dashboard.

Data Storage & Security

Local Storage (Browser)

Your License Key, User Settings, and Product Contexts are stored within your browser's local storage for privacy and speed.

Server Storage (Cloud)

We store limited data to power your History Dashboard:

  • Email Address: Retrieved via Gumroad for license validation and account management.
  • Analysis Logs: Profile Name, LinkedIn URL, Date, & Fit Score.

Note on Content: While we store the Fit Score and Reasoning, we do NOT store the specific email drafts or message content generated by the AI on our servers.

Encryption: All data transmission between the extension, our servers, and AI providers utilizes secure HTTPS encryption (TLS 1.2+).

Data Sharing Policy

What We Do NOT Do:

  • We do NOT sell your data to third parties.
  • We do NOT share profile data with advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do NOT access LinkedIn pages without your manual trigger.

Service Providers

We share data only with essential infrastructure providers to deliver the service:

  • AI Providers (OpenAI/Google): Profile text is sent to these APIs solely for analysis and content generation.
  • Hosting (DigitalOcean/NeonTech): For database and API hosting.
